OUR MISSION

We aim to elevate students and adults by providing mentor workshops, community service projects, and grants to support mentoring programs. Connected we create change!

As friends and colleagues of Wendi Atwood Rogers, we created a gift in honor and memory of Wendi – something tangible that, like Wendi’s continuous service to others, would be like the pebble in the pond, creating ripples outward to help others.  Wendi did this in all aspects of her life:  family, community, friends, church, and professional organizations.  As her comrades in the paralegal profession, we worked with her, beside her, and under her leadership in many activities which has helped shape the paralegal profession.

The Wendi Atwood Rogers Foundation will carry on Wendi's legacy by providing free mentorship education, helping with and hosting community service projects, and giving to those that mentor, so that we may continue the work of a natural community leader, exceptional paralegal, wonderful mother and wife, and incredible mentor.

Our Foundation is operated by an incredible group of volunteers who work hard to ensure purpose-driven progress is achieved in our schools, in our workplaces, and in our community.

ABOUT WENDI

Wendi Rogers was a Certified Paralegal and a Board Certified Paralegal in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She was a long-time member of the Dallas Area Paralegal Association, the Paralegal Division of the State Bar of Texas and the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, serving on many committees, boards and as past President of the Paralegal Division. She won numerous awards and recognitions, but, most of all, was a great mentor who helped launch the careers of many paralegals, and showed them the importance of volunteering. Wendi took mentorship and community service home with her to the community of Tom Bean, Texas, where she supported neighbors, youth sports, and her church. Wendi was a positive influence on so many people, adults and children alike, through her mentorship and goodwill.

The Wendi Atwood Rogers Foundation will carry on Wendi’s legacy by providing no-cost and affordable mentorship workshops; assistance with setting up mentorship and community service programs; and providing donations to mentor programs.  Our goal is to remember a natural community leader, exceptional paralegal, wonderful mother and wife, and incredible mentor.
