Celebrating Wendi’s Birthday
There is always something to celebrate in life, and July brings the celebration of Wendi’s birthday. She is with us in spirit and we are with her by celebrating and sharing her mentorship. It’s also time to celebrate Independence Day in the US. The word “independence” makes me think of why Wendi helped others. She wanted people to be independent, have freedom, and to have peace and happiness in life as she did.
To have independence may mean different things for different people. It doesn’t always mean a job that pays six figures or a big house. Perhaps independence equates to an education, a new career, or maybe even a shift in mindset that allows you to have the confidence to move forward with an education or a new career. It could mean moving out of your parents home and living on your own for the first time, or getting your driver’s license and driving yourself for the first time. Whatever it is, independence is a good thing. Mentorship can help get you to a mindset that will allow you to feel independent, confident and in charge of your own life.
Independence and mentorship are interconnected in a powerful way. While independence is often seen as the ability to rely on oneself and make decisions without external influence, mentorship plays a crucial role in guiding individuals towards achieving true independence. A mentor provides support, advice, and perspective, which can help someone develop the skills and confidence needed to navigate challenges independently. By having a mentor who believes in their potential and offers guidance along the way, individuals can cultivate the self-assurance and knowledge necessary to make informed decisions and embrace their autonomy fully. In this way, mentorship serves as a foundation for fostering independence and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.
We are here to help educate on mentorship.
Happy Birthday to Wendi and Happy Independence Day!
